Double-Layer Honeycomb Cat Litter Trapping Mat

A honeycomb mat for the spot right in front of the litter tray. Litter caught in your cat's paws drops through the perforated top layer and collects in the layer underneath, instead of travelling down the hallway.

What it does

• Catches litter on the way out. The honeycomb top lets granules fall through as your cat walks across it.
• Holds what it catches. Litter sits between the two layers rather than scattering back across the floor.
• Empties in one movement. Lift a corner and tip the trapped litter back into the tray.

It does the same job under a food bowl, where dropped kibble collects in the top layer instead of on the floor.

Cleaning it

Tip the collected litter out through the open side, run a vacuum over the surface, or rinse it with water and leave it to air dry.

Colours and size

Three colours, black, grey and blue, in the one size the supplier labels L. We have not printed a measurement for it. The supplier's product record gives every size it makes the same figures, which cannot be true of sizes that differ, and its written description gives a different measurement again. Rather than print a number we cannot stand behind: the mat wants to sit wider than the tray opening, so your cat lands on it rather than beside it.
