Novelty Hooded Jumper for Small Dogs, Seven Hood Designs

A hooded jumper for small dogs, with the hood made up as a shape: a red apple with a brown stem and a green leaf, a carrot with green tops, a banana, a white radish with green leaves, a green frog with stitched-on eyes, a padded red heart, or a tan hood with brown antlers. A cord ties in a bow at the neck, and in every photograph here that shows the hoodie on a dog, the hood is up and that bow is tied.

It is a dress-up layer, and that is all we will say for it. We are making no claim about how warm it is or how it handles rain: the supplier's own fabric wording and its material record do not agree with each other, so we are not printing either one.

Choosing a design

• Seven hoods. Apple, banana, carrot, white radish, frog, heart and antlers.
• The picker names them by number, so here is which is which. 1 Style is the red apple, 2 Style the cream hood with a padded red heart, 3 Style the orange carrot, 4 Style the white radish, 5 Style the green frog, 6 Style the tan hood with brown antlers, and 7 Style the yellow banana. Each number carries its own photograph in the selector above, so the hood you tap is the hood that arrives.
• Size is chosen separately. Six sizes, XS to 2XL, from the second selector.

Sizes and fitting

We have not published a size chart. The only per-size figures the supplier records against each variant are three numbers with no unit attached, and they are the same for XS as for 2XL and every size between; the size chart on the supplier's own listing is an image we cannot verify. Rather than print something we cannot stand behind, measure your dog against a jumper that already fits and take the larger size if you land between two.

The front legs go through the two sleeves and the cord ties at the neck. Leave that tie slack rather than snug, loosen it if it presses, and take the hoodie off when your dog is not being watched. That is general advice for any pet clothing, not a rule the supplier sets. Keep walking your dog on their usual collar or harness: this is clothing, and there is nothing on it made to take a lead.

In the box

One hoodie, in the single design and size you select above, supplied in a plastic bag. Several of the gallery images are the supplier's own collages, and the plush toy and the pink floral top that turn up in them are other products, and neither is part of this listing. The supplier lists the same garment for cats.

Delivery

Free to Australia and New Zealand, with no minimum order. Orders are dispatched in 3-5 business days and arrive within 10-21 days of ordering. Nothing is payable at the door: our prices sit well under the A$1,000 and NZ$1,000 thresholds at which either country's customs service collects duty or GST at the border.
